So should I get the combination of the three ports to achieve this resolution? Also, if I use something other than HDMI, it reduced quality? Everything I use this computer for is the game. I would appreciate any feedback, as well as suggestions for a cable I would need to buy to support the resolution. I'm considering the purchase of this monitor, but with all the talk about HDMI not support resolution max, I wonder if my video card is able to get up to the maximum resolution I have a DVI port, but I don't know if it's double or not. I have the latest monitor and video drivers installed and have done the factory reset. The video card is a nVidia with 2 GB of memory, 760GTX less than a year. I tried to take a screen shot to illustrate, but the screenshot appears normally! This occurs at any resolution above 1920 x 1080. When I put the resolution on 27 2560 x 1440 maximum resolution, the entire screen fills with snow.
I swapped the cable DVI - D my second monitor (Dell 2208WFP), which worked well on this screen. It worked very well with a HDMI connection, but I soon discovered maxes out at 1920 x 1080 HDMI. I bought a refurbished dell decision-making, a few weeks ago U2713HM monitor. U2713HM - DVI with max resolution 'snow' on the screen I you'd be grateful if someone could please confirm my assumption of what's going on and also cables dual link DVI should come standard (through the output also) with U2713HM in view of its resolution monitor? Or is there any other question that I'm not aware of that could cause this problem instead?
